Since 1994 Air Safety Ltd has been designing and manufacturing filtration
products for leading companies in the fields of anaesthesia (adult
and paediatric), intensive therapy, respiratory medicine, and the
specialist applications market, as well as supplying direct to the
NHS and private sector.
A
worldwide reputation has led to its products being exported to more
than 40 countries across the globe.
|
|
The path to innovation and excellence depends upon technical understanding,
an appreciation of the function of the filter and the equipment
in which it is to be used and, above all, the imagination to produce
the most efficient, cost-effective means of achieving the objective.
A
comprehensive range of devices with efficiencies up to 99.99999%,
an HMEF which has achieved one of the highest ever recorded moisture
outputs, and a specially developed blend of polymers to enable
its filters to trap small particles more easily, are testimony
to Air Safety’s innovative capabilities and excellence in
developing filtration products.

The
filtration process is designed to prevent contamination, and is
delivered by either electrostatic or mechanical means.
To
trap small particles more easily, Air Safety`s electrostatic filters
use a specially developed blend of polymers through which an electrical
charge is passed to induce a highly stable electrical change on
every individual fibre in the media.
The
hydrophobic properties of the Mechanical Pleated Filters are utilised
most effectively in environments where a complete barrier against
particles transmitted in liquid secretions is needed. Tests have
shown that not only are high performance levels consistantly achieved,
but can be maintained over long periods. |
