Air Safety Ltd has developed an HMEF (heat and moisture exchanger
& filter) which has achieved one of the highest ever recorded
moisture outputs. These devices are used during surgery to ensure
that patients' airways are humidified and filtered.
All components are subject to stringent independant testing by CAMR,
Porton Down, and the University of Wales, Dept of Anaesthesia (MHRA
report, March 2004) to ensure that Air Safety devices conform to
strict manufacturing quality control regulations, and adhere to
internationally recognised standards. Filters are manufactured to
BS EN ISO 9001:2000, BS EN ISO 13485:2001, and are tested to BS
EN 13328-1:2001 standards. This form of test method assesses filtration
performance upon penatrative levels of salt particles, which allows
a true comparative on performance of the various filters currently
available in the UK market. All products are CE marked.
A
wide selection of devices are readily available for use in the most
exacting clinical environments. Additionally, products can be developed
specifically to address customers' unique applications.
